Pay It Forward

Pay It Forward

We suggest 2 ways of paying it forward for those that have a heart to do so...

The 1st is to support the Learning Disability Scholarship Fund @ Wright State University. While we realize that almost all college students need financial assistance, the Learning Disable or ADD or ADHD student, not only starts their college career with the challenge of a disability, but almost all scholarship programs, ask and use as one of their KEY indicators the students G.P.A. Well for those of you that know about these students you know that their G.P.A. is NOT a viable indicator of their success in a college environment. Thereby they get blocked out of most scholarship programs, if not by intent certainly by design. It is with that in mind I begain this scholarship, through Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio that has since its conception back 40 years ago specialized in the education of disabled students.

You can click on the link below and you will be taken to the Universities Https page and you will need to indicate there that you want to contribute to the "Learning Disability Scholarship Fund" Thank you for your support, our future generations also thank you.

The 2nd way of paying it forward is just as simple, it is by contributing either your time and or your talent to a local foodbank or pantry. Often times a foodbank can take the money that you would have spent on food items and because of their buying power can turn that dollar into 3 or 4 large boxes of cereal.

Here are some photos of food success from my pantry's Christmas Basket Program that has been going on now for some 40 YEARS. I have only been involved with it personally for 26 years now...impressive all the same. Our Food Pantry operates year round, 3 days a week 50 weeks a year. (It takes a couple of weeks to prepare for the Christmas baskets and a week to recover)
